The lights come on well and if you cut it, it's okay to gather it in the container. But the size is a bit big, so there may be some inconvenience. Still worth it. In fact, my dog has black nails, so I bought it because I thought he would see the nerves when the light was lighted, but even when the light was lighted, he couldn't see the nerves. That's a bit disappointing.
